Another RFC was approved for Theme release 2021 (TR2021) – Tranche 1 Allocatie 2.0 during the NEDU General Meeting of Members on Wednesday 26 January. The RFC in question is 249.7 ‘Koppelingspunt distributienetten GAS en G2cC’ (‘Connection point distribution grids GAS and G2cC’).
The RFC will resolve the following problems:
- The need to supply a monthly peak was not taken into consideration for connection points on gas distribution grids. However, this is expected by regional grid operators and is needed for billing.
- If they only possess monthly volumes during the billing process for these connection points, regional grid operators will not be able to calculate the correct caloric values and thus bill based on a monthly peak, including the accompanying caloric value.
- The requirement to supply a monthly peak for gas has been wrongly included in the business service description. This is not measured for profiled gas connections and can thus not be supplied.
RFC and other documentation on mijnNEDU
You can find the RFC on mijnNEDU: ‘Release’, ‘TR2021-tranche 1 A2.0’, ‘3. RFC’s’. In the coming weeks, the Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) ‘Meetgegevens en reclamaties meetgegevens GV’ (‘Metering data and revision requests metering data GV’) and 2 service descriptions will be modified in keeping with the text in the RFC. Once they are ready, we will place them on mijnNEDU (under reservation). The market roles in scope (TenneT, regional grid operators and metering responsible parties) will be able to access them. This documentation will be approved during the NEDU General Meeting of Members on Wednesday 9 March.
