The Request for Change (RFC) TR2021.7 ‘Sender en Receiver entiteiten’ was approved in the NEDU General Meeting of Members of 3 November. What does this RFC entail?
It is unclear which EAN-13 market parties must use as ‘sender’ or ‘receiver’ of messages if they have multiple EAN’s. For instance, regional grid operators that have an EAN-13 per grid region. It is thus important to define which EAN-13 must be used as sender and which must be used as receiver. It must also be clear how checks for correctly completing EAN-13-sender and EAN-13-receiver have been incorporated into the SOAP header and SOAP body. The RFC clarifies how the above-mentioned issues must be addressed.
