The go live for Theme release 2021 (TR2021) – Tranche 1 Allocatie 2.0 will take place on 19 March 2022. That is when national grid operators, regional grid operators and balance responsible parties (BRP’s) will go live with processing the new XML metering messages of metering responsible parties. Once deployment has been fully completed and they have gone live, there will be a 2-month dual period for metering responsible parties.
Metering responsible parties will join at a pre-agreed moment and will start sending the new XML messages. Before the go live for TR2021 – Tranche 1, the market readiness go live has been sent to the NEDU General Meeting of Members on 28 January. They will decide whether the go-ahead will be given to the go live for the release. The pre-requisite for the go live is that a weighted market share of at least 66% per market role must respond positively to this inquiry.
Help desk to prioritise metering responsible parties after 19 March
After 19 March, the support offered by EDSN and TenneT will primarily focus on helping metering responsible parties to get on board. Parties that do not participate in the current GAT, and want to rely on support from the central help desk of EDSN or TenneT after 19 March, will be given a lower priority. If you qualify without performing tests, you are running the risk of encountering connection and configuration problems after the go live.
