The User Acceptance Test (GAT) for Theme release 2021 (TR2021) – Tranche 1 Allocatie 2.0 has entered its last week. The so-called over-run weeks will start from next week. You will still be able to test during this period. However, you will first need to qualify for the Market-Market-Communication (MMC) Hub of TenneT. Qualified or not: members of NEDU respond a.s.a.p. to the inquiry for the market readiness go live, which has been sent on Friday 28 January.
National grid operators TenneT and GTS, and the regional grid operators and metering responsible parties, have qualified with a weighted market share of over 66%. Unfortunately, this is not yet the case for balance responsible parties (BRP’s). In their case, the weighted market share only amounts to 36%. However, this should not hinder the go live for TR2021 – Tranche 1. Because even if you have not qualified, as a member of NEDU you can still initiate the market readiness go live as of 28 January.
Over-run weeks GAT: test while it’s still possible
The over-run weeks for the GAT will be starting next week. They will last until Wednesday 23 February at the latest. The weeks are available to parties that still want to perform a (supply chain) test. However, this is only possible on appointment. We strongly advise you to perform testing. The previous GAT period demonstrated that the central systems of regional grid operators and TenneT work effectively and only had a few minor issues. However, local parties discovered that they had many configuration problems. It is important to not wait until the go live.
If you want to take part in the GAT, register as soon as possible via firstname.lastname@example.org.
