During the NEDU General Meeting of Members of 4 March, a decision was made to bring an end to the AS2-AS4 Theme release (TR AS2-AS4). All but 2 market parties have now switched to the AS4 protocol. This could only be done by working intensively with all market parties.
Arrangements have been made with the 2 market parties that still use AS2. They realise the need to make the switch before 31 December 2020 as soon as possible. The second quarter is the earliest that we can expect the Centralisation Allocation Reconciliation and Measurement data programme (C-ARM) to be completed. On 16 December, during the last NEDU General Meeting of Members for this year, a decision will be made to definitively phase out the AS2 protocol on 31 December 2020.
